We are pleased to present a glimpse into the history and traditions of the Mi’kmaq people at our Interpretive Centre. We invite you to visit our Centre for a sensory tour through time.

Your journey at the Wagmatcook Culture and Heritage Centre begins with an inspiring multimedia presentation delivered in the traditional art of Mi'kmaq storytelling. A fascinating combination of song, language and imagery will bring you into the world of the Mi'kmaq people, from our earliest history through the present day.

Later, you'll discover even more about our way of life - through crafts display and interactive slides about Bands and Rreserves throughout Nova Scotia. Feel enlightened and refreshed as you step back in time for a glimpse of Mi'kmaq pride, resilience, and compassion for all living things.
